Dr. Frey’s commitment to mentorship is evident in the number and quality of students he has guided. He has directed 27 master’s theses and 27 doctoral dissertations, fostering the next generation of experts in environmental engineering and public policy. The work of his students spans the full breadth of his research, with dissertations on topics such as probabilistic modeling of energy systems, real-world emissions from on-road and non-road vehicles, quantitative risk and uncertainty analysis, and human exposure assessment.
